Abstract

Here are discussed methodological features of change in the length glass staple fibers used in papermaking. Changes in the length of glass fibers in dependence of their diameter are shown. The recommendations on the method of presenting the results of measurement of length of glass fibers are given. The polydispersity of fiber length is confirmed, fractional composition along the length of staple glass fibers of various marks which are used for production of special types of paper.
