Oxidation of Ferulic Acid by Hydrogen Peroxide using Sodium Vanadomolybdophospate as a Catalyst

Abstract

Using spectrophotometry kinetics of catalytic oxidation of ferullic acid by hydrogen peroxide in acidic medium in the presence of vanadomolybdophospate as a catalyst has been investigated. Influence of the solution рН concentration of oxidized compound catalyst oxidant on kinetics has been studied to establish the main rules of the catalytic oxidation.
