Abstract

The article analyzes the existing harvesting machines systems that apply the tree-length method, in terms of power consumption, performance, and the number of machines in the system. A new system of machines based on a feller buncher and a pickup, including a tracked skidder with a trailer, and equipped with a slasher and a reloader. Recommendations are given for improving the tractor’s propulsion system as well as reducing vibration load for drivers and operators of feller bunchers.
