The growth start is determined by biological peculiarities of the species and environmental factors. The close interrelation between needles growth and air and soil temperature is revealed. No interrelation with soil humidity is found. The end of the needles growth is not dependent on the environmental factors and is observed after the complete development of the germinative organs initiated in the bud in the preceding vegetation period.Authors
