Abstract

Natural reforestation processes in the stands after regeneration felling are studied for the taiga zone in the European North. It is registered that the favorable conditions for deciduous undergrowth are created both on skid roads and swath. Spruce undergrowth is better developed in the swath at 8-12 m distance from the border with a skid road, however its quantity is not enough for the successful reforestation.
