Annotation

Statistical distribution patterns of some basic qualitative characteristics of Scots pine plus trees and their clone progenies in Karelia were investigated. It was found that empirical distribution of the clones in terms of height, stem diameter and crown width was close to the norm. Around 11% of plus trees selected in situ showed an outstanding vegetative growth both in the stand and in the seed orchard.
