Abstract

Intensification of forest management in Russia is impossible without solving the problem of timely high-quality reforestation. The paper analyzes key legal documents regulating this process, evaluates the current state of silvicultural production in the European North of Russia, as well as points out some weaknesses hampering intensification of forest management.
