Abstract

The paper describes a method of modifying petroleum resin based on C9 fraction and its use to improve the properties of fiberboard as well as water and moisture resistance of natural wood. The results indicate that the obtained impregnated materials can improve water-repellent properties of fiberboard and wood as well as increase fiberboard flexural strength.
