Abstract

The influence of zinc sulphate on Scots pine sprouts growth and development in water culture conditions is investigated. The limit of lethal and sublethal zinc sulphate concentrations is revealed. The inhibition of sprouts body growth, especially the root system, is demonstrated. The possibility of using Scots pine as bioindicator of heavy metals toxic effect is justified.
