Abstract

A set of methods and technical means for on-line precision monitoring of Arkhangelsk region spruce forests damaged by pests is developed and approved. The research base development for providing on-line satellite images of different resolution for European Russia forests is described. The methods of satellite images processing of drying spruce forests with biodeterioration are im-proved. The integrated, distributed information system of decision-making support for the efficient forest management is established.
