Abstract

The technology of bleaching “soft” ECF has been developed for sulphate softwood pulp without oxygen-alkaline delignification including preliminary treatment of pulp by water solution of sulfur dioxide. Such technology allows to produce bleached commercial pulp with brightness of 88…90% and high characteristics of viscosity and mechanical strength.
